About the Role
You’ll ship production features across our WordPress stack and help spin up lightweight web apps when needed. Most weeks focus on custom themes/plugins, ACF data models, and performance; some weeks include Laravel/Vue or React/TypeScript work for admin tools. On selected ecosystem projects, you may integrate Web3 features (wallet connect, contract calls) with our blockchain collaborators. Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain custom WordPress solutions: CPTs, ACF schemas, Gutenberg blocks/shortcodes, WP REST endpoints.

Translate Figma to performant, accessible UI (semantic HTML, modern JS, responsive patterns).

Design/consume RESTful APIs; integrate third-party services (OAuth, webhooks, Stripe/PayPal, email/SMS, analytics).
-
Optimize for speed, security, and SEO (caching, query tuning, Core Web Vitals, structured data).
-
Write clean, documented code; ship small PRs; keep handoffs crisp.

Build backend services and dashboards with Laravel + Vue or Node.js + React/TypeScript.

Model databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), migrations, and query optimization.
-
Set up light CI (GitHub Actions) and basic Docker dev flows.
-
Add wallet connectivity and smart-contract interactions (viem/wagmi or ethers).
-
Collaborate with blockchain engineers; test with Hardhat/Foundry where relevant.
Requirements

3+ years building production web software with PHP + JavaScript.

Strong WordPress development: hooks/filters, custom themes/plugins, ACF, WP REST API.

Solid front-end skills: ES6+, component thinking, accessibility basics, utility CSS (e.g., Tailwind).

Comfortable with API design/integration, OAuth, and webhook flows.
-
SQL fluency (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
-
Git proficiency and basic CI experience.

Clear written English for specs, PRs, and client notes.
Nice to Have
-
Laravel (queues/jobs/policies) and Vue; or Node/Express with React/TypeScript.

WooCommerce; Firebase/Supabase; Cloudflare; Vercel/Netlify/DigitalOcean.

Testing habits (PHPUnit/Jest/Playwright) and performance profiling.

Web3 exposure: wallet connect, contract calls, event listeners (ethers/viem).

Security awareness (OWASP basics, secret handling, roles/permissions).
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)

Ship a CPT + ACF + block/shortcode feature set that meets CWV targets.

Stand up a small admin/dashboard (Laravel/Vue or React/TS) with clean API boundaries.

Land measurable performance/security improvements on an existing project and document them.
